About Us
Andy started Hillclimb/Sprinting in 1999, which he did for a couple of years together with some friends he made, they decided to change to racing, so off they went and did their ARDS test.
2002.
He compted in the Ingear Motorsport Championship and achieved 2nd in class. Not bad for the 1st years racing considering the steep learning curve to deal with from the driving and set up point of view.
He also had a engine builder come on board as a sponsor and has been with him ever since.
2003.
He entered the Ingear Motorsport Championship once again with the help of his sponsors he won his class and was 3rd overall in the championship.
In addition he became the Race Champion for Borough 19 Club and was also awarded the Prestigous Sydney Allard Trophy for the South Eastern Centre Racing Driver of the year 2003.
who's past winners include Will Gollop and Rod Birley.
2004.
He compted in the Track and Race Car Championship associated with Chris Knott Insurance.
Unfortunatley a waterlogged track resulting in a crash in July at Lydden after aquaplaining hitting 2 TVR's that had already done the same.
The new sponsor Kalimex helped put the car back together again for the next race at Lydden.
We still managed 3rd in the Borough 19 Club Championship and 2ns in class in the BARC Track and Race Car Championship.
2005.
He competed in the Track and Race Car Championship again.
This year he married Petrina and the season started off with a stag day Karting.
The offical race was ar Silverstone National.
This season had it's ups and downs as he missed several race due to illness but managed to achieve 2nd in class in the BARC Track and Race Car Championship.
2006.
This year he competed in the BARC Dumlop Track and Race Car Championship.
Improvements in the gearbox and a lighter car meant it should be faster than last year.
But we only managed 8th in class after completing only 3 rounds out of 10.
2007.
The BARC Dunlop Motorsport News Saloon Car Championship.
This year we had a new car and lots of problems to go with it.
We ended in September with a cracked block but over the winter the engine was sent off to the engine builders and had lots of work done, with many thanks to Kalimex we managed to hopefully get a good car for 2008.
2008.
The BARC Dunlop Motorsport News Saloon Car Championship.
This year we came 4th in class and 17 overall out of 69.
With many thanks to Kalimex and Furry Friends our sponsors.
2009.
This year has been a bit of a problem .
first race at Brands the front damper broke before we started racing. then the next race at Brands the brake disc shattered on the way through the tunnel for the second race.
Then at Lydden Andy cracked his chest brake. Since then we have had many family health problems which has made it very difficult to attend any of the meeting. Hopefully next year will be healther.
Once again many thanks to Kalimex and Furry Friends for our sponsorship.
